TREATING MYSELF CAUSE IT'S TIME TO BE HAPPY

After this messy year ending, I've realised that it's was high time to be happy and treat myself 😌🎀

I'm tired of overthinking about everything. I wanna be happy and be my own main focus. What matters is me, myself and I from now 😉

This weekend, I've decided to bring some little changes.

First one comes with some new home decor.

I've decided to get a new chair. I had an eye on it for a long time now. And good thing, I got it on sale for 19 euros. I was the happiest.

It brings some fresh air in my living room as you can see : 

Can't wait to sit and just chill on it...

Next thing is a new a bag. My current bag that I use for work is litteraly dying. I love it but it's so damaged that it's getting unusable. 

I looked on the internet but no crush. Until I come across this brand called "DES PETITS HAUTS".

Found this bag that was black, leather and not too small and not too big. The absolute perfect style. 

I went to the store to check how if would look worn. And loved it.

So I've decided to order it. I got and and I love it 😍, look at her :

Absolutely can't wait to us it...Start a new life with it, having some new adventures...

Final purchase is a life changing one : Dyson Airstraight finally 🎉

I was waiting for the sales and got it for 30% off. Went straight to the closest store and got it :

HAIR LESSON BECAUSE I NEVER LEARN

Happy New Year to you, to meeee ✨

Felt like coming to share a little something. Cause I feel like this blog help me a lot when I need to remember some old routines 😁

Didn't have the best year ending, this reminds me 2018, literally had the same issues...by issue I mean HAIR.

Let me explain : This summer I had a good hair change. Had some dream blond highlights as you can see :

My hair dresser did exactly what I've asked for. I was super happy with it but you know me...I am so impatient and always change my mind and make some silly decisions...My hair was in perfect condition wether it was the texture or the colour. 

By september, I've decided to to dye everything dark brown and this is the color that I got : 

It wasn't bad, but little by little the color started fading with time. I didn't like that washed off color. Looking back, it wasn't that bad but once again, I was impatient 🥲 and decided to dye my hair jet black by November with a cheap dye 💀 : 

This was the worst dye I've ever tried. It damaged my hair sooo badly. I swear my hair was breaking for weeks. And that's the color I got : 

I'm not gonna lie, it's the begginning, I loved it and embraced the change. But one thing you have to have in mind is that I didn't have black years in years. I've been dying my hair dark brown for a good 15 years now 😮. So I'm almost not used to get my hair this dark. Even my natural hair is not that dark. So little by little, I've started not liking it so much...S

Again I needed to fix that.

So I went for a Color B4 🫣

Not the best idea cause my hair was not in good condition. Adding this wouldn't help.

But good news : They have changed the formula. Now it's less strong. But as a consequence, I had to do it a good 3 times to make the black hair color fade. It kinda wasted my end of 2025. For some reasons, not having the hair that I like upsets me a lot ☹️.

So this is the color that I got : 

This wasn't black anymore but a weird dark brown with some highlights that I didn't like. I swear I've tried to like it so bad, but something was off and I didn't like it. The problem was still there...

So I've decied to stop doing this by myself and calling my hairdresser to fix this mess (I should have done it since the beginning...).

I asked her for my 2019 highlights and I got something that I finally like 🫣

I was quite happy with the color. But I'm not gonna lie, it kinda damagaged my hair. Obviously it's bleach...not the best thing and you can see a little bit of dryness. 

So even if I love the result, I needed to hydrate my hair ASAP.

I have decieded to get L'Oréal Bond repair set that is said to be an OLAPLEX dupe :

And I was pleasantly surprised 😮

This changed my hair texture and quickly made it softer, stronger and healthier. The result was instant. It's been 2 days that I've been using it and it looks good. I need to check how long that hydration would last on my hair. And if it does, hands down. I will update soon about it.

I feel like the key product in this trio is the pre-shampoo. I had no idea this existed. But I could feel it made a true difference in my hair and after I've shampooed it, my hair felt soft and repaired. 

I can't wait to see the long term result.

But you can see on this new picture, that my hair looks much better : 

It may not look obvious here but trust me, I feel a huge difference. I will keep using that L'Oréal routine and cut my hair in a couple of weeks. I think a haircut will make a big difference as well.

OCTOBER NEW LOVES 💕

It's been a WHILE…

I actually got the sportiest back to school everrrr : Left my old job and started a new one just coming back from holidays 😅. It was challenging but hey that's what's life is about it ^^ isn't it ?

The stress did messed up my skin but I had to be a little patient and started a glow up plan to get everything back to normal. I was struggling to be happy with my makeup. 

But now that my skin is close to getting back to normal, i finally found a routine that made me happy.

Let me introduce 3 key products that I currently love 😍 :

2. Sephora GLOW setting spray : Love it, made my skin lookking slightely dewy and made my makeup stay ALL DAY 😮 and the spread is perfect

My favourite time of the year has started and I'm back to weekend occupations : meeting up with my friends, shopping, having fun 😊.

Yesterday, I met up with a friend that haven't seen in a while and we had such a good time 😍.

A FRESH NEW START - HI 2025

It's been SUCH a long time ! And I am back of course.

So much changes in my life since last summer, I was very busy. I've finally entered that new cycle of my life. Hopefully for the better huh 🙏🏼 

Let me just explain : I've moved since last summer, it was a revival. I am super happy with my new place. I feel really good but I had to get used to it 🙃 ! I can officially tell that I've entered my grown area LOL !

The end of the year was full of surprises and I had to adapt myself to certain situation sometimes...

The beginning of the year was a little bit shaky, kinda on and off vibes...basically winter.

But winter is overrrrr 🎉 and spring has entered the chat. 

I am happy and anxious about it...but hey I am the own master of my life right ? So I will try my best to make the best of this part of the year.

And I've started yesterday !!! 

Saturday was such a perfect day, sunny and not crowed ! I've recently had a fresh haircut and my skin got better. So I went out with my friend and we had such a good time ☀ !

My goal is to save my hair and often cut them. I want my old silky hair so baaaad ❤ 

I'm gonna do anything to get them the way I want !!! Goal for the next couple of months.

I wanna feel cute, skinny and confident this summer. I'm gonna work for it very hard. And it's starts now !!!

COUNT DOWN BEFORE MOVING

 As mentionned previously, summer is here. And this year is a little bit different than the other years for me 😅. 

Indeed, I stay in Paris but for a good cause : Moving houses soon 🎉.

I've started buying little things for my house. 

Two weeks ago, I had a day off and I randomly decided to go to my favourite shopping center called Beaugrenelle ❤. 

 

Had a little walk looking all cute, I liked my hair this day :

Favourite Almond ice latte & M&Ms donut was so good 😋

And then randomly walk to MAISON DU MONDE with not expectations when suddenly  I saw a cute sofa...and guess what. I got it ❤

I went for the grey version of it...Cant' wait to show you my apartment !!!

I have a week off from tommorow. Will see how everything will go and use the free time to move quickly ! I am soooo excited and I have been waiting for this moment for so long !

Wanted to share how amazing my day was ☀️
Most of my friends are on holidays at the moment and I was thinking about how boring summer will be for me.
But it’s actually not gonna be that boring since certain things about my life recently unlocked 😉
I will probably be busy with that. BUT overall, I’ve decided to be happy and hangout just by myself cause why not.
You don’t always need people around to be happy. Always invest in yourself and just live life.
Yesterday was a perfect example 🙌.
I went shopping at Châtelet 🛍️ and suddendly saw a store I never usually go to. I’ve been looking for a cute handbag for weeks on sale but couldn’t find it in store. I found the brand and saw the bag 😍. Instant crush and it was 40 % off !
Such a good deal. I asked if there were a brand new one and the lady said it was the last one 🥹 !
OFC I had to get it. She said I’ve manifested it haha…love this 🙃 !
Can’t wait to use this beauty :

I then ended up in another shopping center called Beaugrenelle that I love 💕 

Had a little coffee amd went to H&M to get some basic Ts. I wanna rock my flare jeans that I emjoy wearing this year ❤️‍🔥

Yesterday I was wearing some earrings. I had a lot of looks. It definatly added something extra to my outfit. And cherry on top, I felt comfortable with them. I will definitely wear earings in the future 😀  !

Anyway all I wanted to say is that I had a fabulous day by myself 🥰

I forgot how a day alone could be so relaxing and fun. I used to do it before…I wonder why I stopped  🤔

So will definatly have more times like that.

One last thing : I’ve waited summer to listen to Ariana Grande’s last album.

What a delight, totally worth the wait. I’ve cried cause her voice is so beautiful I can’t 🥹🌈

SUMMER SALES TIME

Last week I was upset and this week I am happy and optimistic again 😀
See how life is full of surprises 😉. That’s why we have to stay positive and see the good in EVERY situation ^^
There is a reason to this as well : I’ve started by new job. I got a new team and everything is different now.
I’m quite happy with it, I learn new things everyday, my team is funny & entertaining…and is made of different age range.
It reminds me an old company I used to work in and I was so happy about it. Plus time flies, I am so busy with work that I didn’t see the days passing looool. Wich is amazing.
Recently I have decided to shut down my socials, don’t expect things from anybody and focus on me 😀🙌
I am sure, amazing come will come then.
Anyway, yesterday was fun. I went for brunch at Gast again with my friend : 

And then we went for a cool shopping session 🛍️.

Had a a ride at Sephora and found these cute stuffs :

I was looking for a palette with pastel colors so got this 😍

And finally go these hoops that I hope I will have the courage to wear.

I used to wear them as a teen and suddenly stopped.

I want to get the confidence to wear them again 💪

So I was very happy with the weekend ☀️

ILLUSIONS & ANOTHER SUMMER COMMING

 It's been a long time since I haven't blogged...and there is a specific reason behind it trust me 😒

So many things have happened the last previous weeks such as unexpected drama at work, bad weather...I'm not gonna lie, I didn't feel the best lately...I questionned myself a lot and try to find some anwers 🙏. Life is a long long road of finding yourself and it takes a lot to make the best decision.

I have a tendency to feel like everything is over or lost all the time...but with time I've learned to work with it and try to learn if it was because I really feel  bad or because the environnement around me was always changing ? On ne peut descendre le même fleuve deux fois de la même façon...this is something that I have to keep in mind. And I'm working on it. I don't wanna be emotional anymore. I need to shut down my emotions and be smart, otherwise I'm gonna loose all my opportunities. I needed to do a social cutting this weekend and it feels good. I wanna be by myself, alone and happy. 

And I wanna a be back to the purpose of this blog : being positive, after the rain comes the rainbow 🌈

Patience is gold ! and never be upset because of a bad day cause the next day could be completly different and something unexpected could happen ❤️

So I'm gonna be positive and keep sharing the little moments that make me happy.

 

Last week, I went to place called "Le Gast" for brunching with a friend.

The food was incredible😍

 

 We first had a coffee : It's was so goood

Then food was even better ❤️

I had a benedict egg, croissant, cookie 🍪 and granola...Looks like a lot but it was the perfect  amount of food ! We were talking about recent dramas and of course boys 😉.

It was funny and we definatly had a good time. But not enough time, so we're gonna make it again next week with a little bit of shopping to layer the lunch ^^.

ANOTHER INCREDIBLE DAY

Last week, we had a couple of bank holidays. Usually I always go somewhere. But this year, I had no plans. So I stayed home. Didn't do much and even got some little anxiety coming back ☹️

I should have gone for a running, it would have helped me so much. But it's okay I've learned from that. Next time, I will definatly not gonna stay home all day to avoid a similar situtation.

Anyway, nothing carzy happened until saturday.

Saturday, I had to meet up with my lovely friend Alexandra for a coffee & shopping afternoon.

The weather was so on point, everybody was happy 🌈

We want for a coffee at this place called Marcel that I love :

Then we went shopping, and I found some unexpected little gems...oops 🫢

First these sunnies that I'm so ready to rock 

And then these cute earrings...that I hope I'm gonna wear

The afternoon was so perfect, we ended in the Quais de Seine...it was so beautiful 😍

But the day was not over...Alexanda planned a night out with her friends the same night and asked me if I wanted to join...Off course with these boring past days, I had to say YES.

And it was a fantastic idea 😊 !

We want out by 10PM at an RnB themed party at Titi Palacio.

The place was amazing and people were really vibing :

We had a very good time and ended up leaving by 1AM 

So saturday was amazing...I am happy again...The conclusion to this is that I need to stop worrying about the future, things that didn't even happened LOL...let my mind breathe and LIVE THE MOMENT always...The rest of the month, I want to focus on the present ONLY 🙏

A LOVELY FRIDAY NIGHT

I had to share my last friday night which was unexpectedly good ✨

On Thursday night, my parents's friends have decide to visit us with their kids. Long story short, I usually don't bond with them but this time things were different. The fact that I have changed as a person, made me more open minded. Since last year, I've decided to be less in control of my emotions and just learnt to go with the flow 🙃. And let me tell you, life is so much better now...I've learnt to appreciate things the way they are and stop judging everything. This old behavious clearly blocked me from just let it go and have fun...So I am glad I have changed 🙏🏼

Anyway, back to the story, suprisingly, because of this change, I have managed to have a good time with the two kids (they are actually grown lol). I've started having conversations with them, the vibe was good and we basically all had a good time ! 

I would never expect to say that one day 😌 but look at me know !

Since we were in a good vibe, I've decided to go out with them the next day for dinner. 

I've decided to go to this new restaurant called GRUPOMIMO, 7 minutes away from my place.

It's adorable, small, cute but the vibe was amazing :

A cute little table was booked on the side for us 😚

Then we had some yummy food, I went for a pizza :

This is not what I would usually have but this was incredible. I couldn't even fish it 🤭

And for desert, I was too full so I had a drink that was yummy :

So yeah the night was fun and we got lucky with the weather. Hope more fun times like this will come.

SUN IS BACK ?

 Last week I was literally complaining about the spring being not what is was expecting to be 🙃

Well guess what !? Sounds like someone heard me complaining cause this weekend the sun was finally there 🎉 and I couldn't complain about it...

I've decided to go out and enjoying this lovely weather ☀️ and it was a success, I had such a peaceful sunny day 🌸 !

It's crazy how a little bit of sun can change a whole mood. I felt very happy inside...didn't feel this way since last autumn and let me tell you, it was a beautiful feeling 🌾 !

I have done with differently with my underage powdering this time : Remember last october I was complaining about not liking the Ben Nye Pretty Pink powder ?

Well guess what ? I was using it wrooong ❌

I've learned that the powder was supposed to be mixed with another powder. So I've mixed my W7 Powder in Natural Beige with it and I've loved the result as you can see about ☺️.
No darkness and my undereye area doesn't look cakey at all 😍

The only advice I would give it not use too much of the Pretty Pink Powder, cause it would deepen the undereye area since it's very thin. So please use the tinest amount 😉 and you'll be fine  !

Next I wanted to make a change with my hair. 

Lately it looked so dry and ashy. I've decided to dye them dark brown again with my usual box dye.

And it made them so much better and shiner ! But it made them dry.

I don't really like to use any conditionner on my hair cause it tends to make them greasy since my hair is thin. So time, I've decided to try something different :

I have applied them only on the ends and I was quite pleased with the result. I will try to use this technic for a couple of weeks and see how it goes and let you know.

I used this conditionner :

Hope this routine will change my life 🙏🏼

And last thing I wanted to share : Currently everything that i used to love back in the days 2005-2006 are back in trend 😍 I love it and I can try new things.

I am obssessed with wide legs jeans.

I got one in black from Zara that I've rocked the whole entire winter.

I got another one in grey and I feel like I am gonna wear it all the spring 😌

SPRING BEGINNING

Has you can see from the title : Spring has started 🌸

But not the way I wished it would LOL. Let me explain : I got some weird vibes in the beginning of march. The weather was not it, I couldn't really go out...so yeah I can say it... March was SHIT 👀

Nothing much to do and dealt with it by just working on my personal projects...

I had some few times that were cool that I am going to share with you as a memory.

In the beginning of the month, I went for a mexican brunch at TIGER MILK.

The setting was cute and cosy :

And the food was very diverse : 

So even March wasn't the best, I managed to have a good time on that day ☺️

But thank god, March is over.

New month, new start ! 

I felt a little anxious in March and even this morning. I usually go for a run in the morning and yesterday I didn't cause I felt so tired. I didn't feel good all day.

But this morning even more I felt tired, I went for a run and it just changed my mood. I felt strong, hopeful and happier. I wanted to hightlight how such a small move can change your mindset and makes a day better ✨. And once again, it's up to you to be happy or be drown by negative emotions.

Instead of thinking about inexisting issues created by your own mind, think about all the things you can accomplish and how you can set them 💪🏼. Running has been the best decision that I have made for myself.

I hope I will go futher on my fitness journey in the future as well.
